Excess is Less

I always wondered when I'd get a chance to use these verses of Scripture:

"Do not carouse with drunkards or feast with gluttons, for they are on their way to poverty, and too much sleep cloths them in rags" (Proverbs 23:20-21 NLT).

Excess, too much of these three things will bring you to lack and poverty - "less":
  1. Excessive drinking
  2. Excessive eating
  3. Excessive sleeping

Excess has a tendency to always produce less than the fruit of a healthy, well-balanced life.

This Covid-19 event has brought many of us into an unplanned "excess" of eating, sitting at home and missing our more organized routine. It's time for a FRESH START for all of us.
  1. Get back on track with healthy eating and correct portion size.
  2. Find time to exercise, even simple walking.
  3. Get back into the habit of Sunday church attendance.
  4. Relationships are healthy... be safe, but also start connecting with some people.
  5. Feed your mind with positive, hope-filled thoughts and imaginations.

Here's to a FRESH START in September 2020!!
