I Believe God

Three-Month Tithing Plan

We believe tithing is a biblical principle; and to not tithe is to be disobedient. Many fail to tithe because their faith is weak and they think if they give money out to God, there might not be enough that comes back. Tithing is always what you do first with your paycheck, not last!

We want to foster obedience and see your faith grow, without you feeling there is a huge risk involved. With that in mind, for those who have never consistently tithed before, we offer what we call our I Believe God: Three-Month Tithing Plan.

To enter into this plan, four specific guidelines should be followed:
  1. This plan is only for those who have not yet tithed: that is, given the full 10 percent of their total income to the local church (Deuteronomy 14:22-23). The three-month plan begins the first time you tithe and mark your envelope as outlined in #2 below.
  2. You must clearly mark across the envelope these words: "I Believe God". This confirms to us that you have entered the plan. Be sure to continue to mark the "I Believe God" line on the envelope each time you give, for the entire three months
  3. If after three months (90 days), you feel your needs have not been sufficiently met by the Lord, upon request to the Finance Administrator, we will assist you within 5 business days with a financial gift of benevolence (Alms).* We will not feel the Lord has failed you, but rather, He wants the church to help you at this time (Deuteronomy 15:7-11; Matthew 6:1-4). Understand that we are believing God with you, that He will provide
  4. Please note, this three-month plan is only in effect for "tithes"... not "offerings".

*Note: Charity Law does not permit us to refund your donation once it has been given to The Embassy (we are a Registered Canadian Charity). A gift of ALMS may be given by the local church to help individuals in times of financial need.
